This was the opening line of the inspectors’ Ofsted report (July 2006) which assessed our school as outstanding in every area.
Princes Plain Primary is a community school surrounded by fields and is set up in such a way that the needs of every child are met, from children who are gifted and talented to children with a range of special needs.
The large number of staff are committed to ensuring that children are happy, cared for, valued and achieve their potential through an imaginative, vibrant curriculum which includes experiences both in and out of the classroom to help engage children in their learning.
The vision of our school is “Only the best will do!” and is the motivation of the whole school community.
